Mission Field Studies

EvangilseStudying for the Certificate in Missional Ecclesiology requires that students do not spend all their time with heads in books and listening to lectures. Students are therefore encouraged to be involved in general university life by doing such things as getting along to the gym or spending time in the library. They also engage in supervised regular mission field studies. This can involve such things as questioning people on the streets, running a students’ drop in cafe during freshers’ week, visiting local schools or hostels. This is timetabled one afternoon a week during most weeks of the course.

In 2010 students will also be involved in a planned week in France in a French-speaking missional situation.
