The library in School of the Word is rapidly growing and thousands of pounds are being invested into upgrading resources available to students. Nevertheless, there is an acknowledgement that for the desired academic excellence, more will be needed. School of the Word pays  the application fee for its enrolled students  to apply to join the JRUL as an external member.   The library of course, reserves the right to refuse any application, but if accepted, students are permitted to work in the library during study times, take out books and access materials available to external members of the library. The University library is a short 5 minute walk from School of the Word. It has over 4 million books and is one of the largest libraries in the country. It is open till 11.30pm most evenings.
